Kuhbander Stable Riding Academy
Our head instructor Carrie Kuhbander has been working with horses for her entire life growing up on the farm she and her mom now run. She started her lesson program 29 years ago determined to not only teach kids how to ride, but also the ins and outs of caring for the horses they were riding. When you book a lesson you can expect to groom, tack, ride, cool down, untack, and re brush your lesson horse. This ensures our riders learn the kinds of brushes and their uses, tack and its uses, as well as care for the horse to keep them happy and healthy. We are committed to help you grow your riding and horsemanship skills in a safe drama free environment where our riders and horses are always a priority.
Come see us and our loving lesson horses and decide if we are the right fit for you or your young rider.

More information about our lessons...
We do primarily English style riding at our facility. We feel that English progresses the riders balance, core and strength to a point that from there other riding skills will be easier to master. We use a variety of our horses in our program, including Quarter Horses, Arabians, and American Saddlebreds. We try to use a variety of horses, so that our riders can learn a variety of English styles. Although focusing advanced skills and showing in saddleseat riding, we also do beginner through advanced skills through hunter on the flat and beginner dressage skills. We also offer beginner western lessons, on our school horses and more advanced skills on owners own horse.
